Impressed from start to finish. Very professional and prepped well to avoid damage and kept things tidy. Knowledgeable and let us know what was happening at each stage. Price was very competitive and they went the extra mile to do a really nice neat finish of the entire wall with the plastering even though they didn’t have to.

Kevin came and assessed a damp area in a closet in a basement room. He gave some great advice and suggested the possibility of a small leak which we are looking into. No charge and great advice, highly recommended and we will certainly use Anke Ltd to repair the damp areas even if the cause is fixed by the plumber.

Kevin C, Kevin O and the team were very good. Reliable, hard-working and pleasant to deal with. I was managing the project from a distance and they maintained excellent communication, explaining the work as the job progressed. The work was finished to high standard and they managed to keep to time although the damp problems were more extensive than originally thought. I’m so impressed with Kevin he came over to my home and gave me an honest opinion about the mould, which he said I could treat it myself for 20 pounds. Seriously Kevin is the most decent, ethical and honest person I have ever met. He gave me advise on how to deal with the small area of mould and didn’t want me to waste my money. I tried to offer 50 pounds four times for his travelling expenses, (after all it was his time lost,) he refused politely and said no need happy to help. Hard to find honest people he’s one of them. Another company quoted me £600 for doing a job that wasn’t required.

If you are looking for someone for a damp remediation project and are reading this review look no further. When I discovered the damp in the basement I got the names of 5 companies from the internet and one referral from our electrician. Of the five from the internet 3 responded and 1 scheduled an appointment. They promised an estimate the day following the site visit. That didnt arrive for five days. The one referral was Anke. They were timely helpful and offered solutions outside the scope of work. Their price was in line with the other estimate. Very pleased! Top notch! Couldnt say enough!

Kevin Campbell from Anke arrived on time. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently. His comments were based on experience, which he explained in a language that I could easily understand. His suggestions were practical and astute. I was not aware of his company before – fortunately for me, I followed his advice, and our problem has been (efficiently) resolved. I wish I had found this company weeks ago. You will get sound and honest feedback on your particular flooring problem with explanations of how/why and what to do next. What more could you ask for. Following Kevin’s visit I was quite prepared for him to say that we needed to replace the damp proof membrane – as I had been told by others! What joy to hear that we did not have to go that route.
