The Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Damp Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will conduct property surveys, identify damp-related issues, and recommend effective solutions to protect and enhance the properties we work with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed damp surveys on residential and commercial properties.
  • Diagnose issues such as damp, condensation, and lateral water penetration.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, including recommendations for remedial actions.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality results.
  • Utilise computer systems for report writing, data entry, and communication.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) or CSTDB (Certified Surveyor in Timber and Dampness) qualification.
  • OR an experienced damp-proofing technician with a proven track record and a desire to progress into surveying (training provided).
  • Strong IT skills, including experience working with survey software and report writing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • A full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with waterproofing or structural preservation systems.
  • Knowledge of building construction and property maintenance.
